• The profile page will open, it will show you all your profile details. In the profile page, click on the “Start your first story” button to write your first story.
• The draft page will open. In that page,
  • You can write your article/ story.
  • Editing options such as Bold, Italic are available at the bottom of the page.
  • You can also add links and images to your story using the options available at the bottom of the page.
• Once you are done with your story, please read your story carefully and click on the publish button available on the right side of the page.
• Once you click on the “publish” button, the Medium app will request you to add tags for your story, you can add a maximum of 5 tags for the story.
• Once you add a tag for your story, it will confirm with you again to publish your story.
• Once you confirm, your story will be published on the Medium app and you can view it from your profile.

How to Earn Money on Medium app ?

To earn money for your writing on the Medium app, you need to join the Medium Partner program.

• Click on this link, The Medium Partner program page will open in your web browser.
• Scroll down the webpage and click on “Join the partner program” button.

• once you click on “join the Partner program”, sign in page will open. Sign in using your same google credentials using during sign in on Medium app.
• The “Join the middle partner program” page will open. It will request you to agree to the terms of the Medium App and set a payout. Currently only Stride payment method is available.
• When you set a payment method, you will start receiving payments for your stories.

To join the partner program and start earning, you do not need to be a paid medium member .i.e. you don’t need to take Medium app membership for joining partner program.

How to Withdraw/ Transfer your money ?

Medium partner program writers are paid monthly to see how much time members of the Medium app spend reading their stories in the Medium app. Your money will be directly added to your stride account.
