How to create an account on Wattpad app

You can easily download Wattpad mobile app from Google Play store.

Now you have written story title and its short description and you have to write story parts. When you click on Next, story part page will open.

Story part page will open. In this page, Add image / youtube video for your story part or chapter, give proper title to your story part and add all the content of your story part.

Once you write all the content for your part, please read it carefully and correct it.

Once you verify , click on “Publish” to publish your story part.

You can also save your work and later publish it. You can save your work by returning directly from the story part page. Your story part will be saved and you can edit and publish it later.

For joining paid stories program,

1. You must be a Wattpad Star
   Stories don’t usually skip this step (with some exceptions, like The Wattys, International writers). Even if a story is going straight to Paid, it’s going to also go into Stars first so Stars entry should be your primary goal. The Stars program is the gateway that links to all of the other opportunities across Wattpad. 
2. Your story must be completed, either on Wattpad, on Wattpad in draft, or offline in a manuscript.
3. Your story must be at least 50,000 words. There is no upper limit on word count.
4. Stories can be of any genre, except the following: Fanfiction, Poetry, Non-Fiction, Classics, Random
5. Your story must be original and wholly owned by you or be based on a story in the public domain and must be based on the version in the public domain.
6. There is no minimum required read count.

How do I become a Star?

In order to be considered for the Wattpad Stars program, you must be thoughtfully engaged with the Wattpad community and show promising talent in your regularly updated work.

Your profile must meet the following program criteria in order for you to be considered an active and engaged Wattpad writer:

• You must have at least one (1) narrative story with at least fifty-thousand (50,000) words, that is marked as complete
• You must have started one (1) story in the past 365 days
• You must have revised/modified/added a new part to an existing story within the last three (3) months
• You must have logged onto the Wattpad in the past sixty (60) days
• You must fill out thisStars Writer Program Interest Form**
